MINI

2 TO 3 YEAR OLDS

Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.

Parent/guardian participation is required for Mini programs. Cleats and shin guards are optional for Mini & Classic levels (not necessary).

CLASSIC

3 TO 5 YEAR OLDS (PRE-K)

Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.

We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation. Cleats and shin guards are optional for Mini & Classic levels (not necessary).

PREMIER

5 TO 8 YEAR OLDS (K-2ND)

Soccer Shots Premier teaches soccer skills, the game of soccer, and character development. Children will learn the tactical elements of soccer, game concepts and work with teammates through a variety of engaging activities such as relays and fun games that require decision making while following an expert approved curriculum taught by their coach. Premier coaches discuss offense and defense, goal kicks, throw ins and the formation of a team. Children play the game with a better understanding and practice the character traits and skills they’ve been learning. Children will scrimmage every week and are introduced to competition in a safe and fun environment while providing the foundation for a healthy lifestyle through sports.

Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner. Cleats and shin guards are highly recommended for Premier level (ages 5-8).

When will they receive their jersey?

Children will be mailed a jersey to the address on file when the annual registration fee is paid (one jersey per year - enrollment fee paid every 365 days). FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of equipment will my child need to participate?

Your Soccer Shots coach will provide all of the equipment needed at each of our classes (i.e. soccer balls, cones, goals, etc). Your child should wear activity/weather appropriate clothing and bring their own water bottle to each session.

Public Locations: Cleats and shin guards are optional for our Mini and Classic programs (ages 2-5). Cleats and shin guards are strongly recommended for our Premier program (ages 5-8).

What happens if a class is canceled?

Soccer Shots will make every effort to make up all canceled classes during the course of a season. Specific information about make-ups will be emailed to all families enrolled in the class.

Public Locations: We will extend the season by a week, up to two weeks per season. If we cancel more than 2 weeks in a season, we will issue a credit to parents for any classes we are unable to make up.
Child Care & School Locations: We typically extend the season by a week. If needed, we may schedule a make up class on another day and will let parents know if that is the case.

How will I know if a class is canceled?

Soccer Shots will notify you by email and post on our social media of any cancellations and make up class details. Follow us on our Instagram or Facebook.

Public Locations ONLY: We will notify you of cancellations at least 1-2 hours before the start of the class via email and social media postings. We will give as much notice as possible, however, occasionally a decision regarding weather will be closer to 1 hour ahead of the class time. If you do not hear from us, class is on as scheduled.

REFUND POLICY:

The Annual Registration fee is non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.

Refunds will not be issued for any unscheduled cancellation by site staff.
Refunds will not be issued for any school, site or field closure due to natural disaster, government emergency, health crisis or force majeure (act of god).
Refunds will not be issued after first day of classes

Full refunds will only be issued (minus a $15 processing fee apply) when the withdrawal of a student is received in writing 15 days prior to scheduled season start
Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.
No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a makeup class.

A $15 processing fee will be applied to all refunds.

All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative at inlandempireEast@soccershots.org.
