Soccer Shots Inland Empire East is excited to begin a new season at Inland Leaders Charter School - YBC Campus!

We believe that the Soccer Shots Curriculum encourages inclusive, child-centered activities, facilitated and encouraged by coaches and families, in a safe, positive, fun and welcoming environment. We believe that all children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively and linguistically, through soccer and play.

A Soccer Shots Session Includes:

» Activities that promote development in each early childhood domain
» A theme of the day woven throughout the session and applied to each activity
» Character words that are succinctly defined and applied throughout each session (by coaches and participants)
» 3 rules that emphasize the character words
» An objective for each day’s session that describes the outcomes of the class
» Ideas for differentiation that are provided for each skill or game, both individually and for groups of children
» Opportunities for play and creativity
» An emphasis on the development of soccer skills while having fun
» A weekly email update on everything your child is learning in their session that week!

PREMIER

Kindergarten

Soccer Shots Premier teaches soccer skills, the game of soccer, and character development. Children will learn the tactical elements of soccer, game concepts and work with team mates through a variety of engaging activities such as relays and fun games that require decision making while following an expert approved curriculum taught by their coach. Premier coaches discuss offense and defense, goal kicks, throw ins and the formation of a team. Children play the game with a better understanding and practice the character traits and skills they’ve been learning. Children will scrimmage every week and are introduced to competition in a safe and fun environment while providing the foundation for a healthy lifestyle through sports. Cleats and shin guards are not necessary at school programs.

Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of equipment will my child need to participate?

Your Soccer Shots coach will provide all of the equipment needed at each of our classes (i.e. soccer balls, cones, goals, etc). Your child should wear activity/weather appropriate clothing and bring their own water bottle to each session. Cleats and shin guards are recommended for Premier level.

What happens if a class is canceled?

Soccer Shots will make every effort to make up all canceled classes during the course of a season. Specific information about make-ups will be emailed to all families enrolled in the class.

School Locations: We typically extend the season by a week. If needed, we may schedule a makeup class on another day and will let parents know if that is the case.

How will I know if a class is canceled?

Soccer Shots will notify you by email.

REFUND POLICY:

The Annual Registration fee is non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.

Refunds will not be issued for any unscheduled cancellation by site staff.
Refunds will not be issued for any school, site or field closure due to natural disaster, government emergency, health crisis or force majeure (act of god).
Refunds will not be issued after first day of classes

Full refunds will only be issued (minus a $15 processing fee apply) when the withdrawal of a student is received in writing 15 days prior to scheduled season start
Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.
No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a makeup class.

A $15 processing fee will be applied to all refunds.

All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative at inlandempireEast@soccershots.org.
